Welcome to University of Cebu School of Medicine.
The University of Cebu known to democratize quality education established UCSM in 2015 in synergy with the newly opened UNIVERSITY OF CEBU MEDICAL CENTER. It strives to produce physicians who are driven to excel and serve. Backed by distinguished roster of faculty members, the school provides innovative, transformative and high quality educational programs that seek to integrate the desired outcomes of a medical graduate. It is steadfast in its commitment to the growth of medical students both personally and professionally.

Goals
Provide students with the medical knowledge, clinical skills and professional attitude to make them clinically competent as health care provider.
Inculcate in the students the communication skill for a dynamic exchange between a doctor and a patient.
Provide the students with knowledge of scientific research and the analytic skills to elucidate and relate research findings to patient care.
Provide the students with the skill to work with individuals of other professions to maintain a climate of mutual respect, shared values and utilize systems based approach to health care.
Develop in the students the capability to be an integral participant in decision making in the operation of health care system.
Develop in the students’ habits and attitudes that will enable them to engage in lifelong pursuit of mastering their domain of expertise and practice social accountability.
